Arrowhead Poster Bed The Arrowhead poster bed, from the Country Living, Stockbridge Collection was named after a historic home owned by Herman Melville who wrote Moby Dick while living in the home from 1850 to 1863. The exuberant use of bobbin turnings on the posts of this canopy bed reflects the rural furniture maker’s skill with the lathe, producing a masterpiece of Americana. The canopy top can be removed to create a four-poster bed. The arrowhead poster bed is available in queen size (33/34/35 and 40 canopy), king size (36/37/38 and 41 canopy), and cal-king size (36/37/39 and 42 canopy). |
